In 2006, Ryan began his journey of recovery again after years of relapse and struggle. It was at this point over the next year, he saw that working in the field may be a good opportunity. From Florida, to Prescott, AZ. he went, working to help foster and build a foundation with Algamus Gambling Treatment Centers. He started as a housemanager learning the necessary knowledge to incorporate a good stable environment for clients and staff.
He took over as Operations Director, and eventually was elevated to Program Director. He recently has worked with the team of Kindbridge Behavioral Health to explore the tele-therapy world as Director of Engagement. He easily connects with prospective clients.
His mission is to help as many gamblers, along with co-occurring addictions, and mental health struggles, along with the families as possible allowing them a safe place to come and heal so they can enjoy the life they want and deserve.
He has worked with thousands of gamblers and other co-occurring addictions over the last 17 years and is ready to make even a bigger impact moving forward. Ryan is motivated to share with clients that there is hope and empower them to take their lives back. His hope for each client is that they replace the hopelessness and helplessness that they have experienced, with love, confidence, and inspiration to realize their most successful years are ahead of them.
He believes in doing the things that bring pleasure and enjoyment, that many of us have forgotten about when we have been in active addiction or going through the
struggles of life. He has a passion for helping others get back in sync and return to the things they used to love to do.
Personally, he enjoys golf, basketball (coaches high
school basketball), walks, and enjoying time with his animals, family, and friends.
“I’ve seen so many people and their families struggle with addictions and the dynamics that come with it. I’ve learned you can’t do this alone. Our team is here to help restore you to the values and beliefs that were compromised.”
